In 1931, a woodchopper was found murdered with a single devastating blow, beyond the capability of a human. This event traumatized the entire village, marking the beginning of more ominous occurrences.

Hunters discovered giant footprints, blood, and torn-up terrain, indicating a formidable and elusive creature. Residents reported sightings of a massive, hairy figure destroying fish wheels, describing it as devil-like. Uneasiness spread as the creature became a regular presence around the village.
